The Aztech HL113EW is a HomePlug AV 200Mbps + 150Mbps
Single-band(2.4G) WiFi. HL113EW embarks on a concept of No
New Wires data communications, and it transforms your in-house
powerline into a networking infrastructure. It successfully reduce
“blind spot”, increase throughput and increase network coverage
within a home. Surf the Internet and share data at the speed up to
200Mbps PHY rates through powerline, 150 Mbps via Wireless in
any outdoor environment and rest assured with the best security
from eavesdroppers through encryption on the power circuit and
WLAN.
HL113EW HomePlug engine is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA6410
chipset. It features faster processing power, Fast Ethernet host
interfaces and an enhanced analog front end. The solution is
compliance with IEEE1901 and Homeplug AV, hence allowing
hassle free compatibility with existing Homeplug AV devices and
other suppliers of IEEE1901 PLC (Powerline Line Communication)
devices. As for the Wireless, it is using Qualcomm Atheros AR9331
2.4 GHz Wireless N SoC chipset
Enhanced Quality of Service (QOS) also provides the guaranteed
bandwidth reservations for multimedia payloads including TV over
IP (IPTV), higher data rate broadband sharing, Online-Gaming,
VoIP Calls, extending Wireless LANs coverage, Audio-Video
transmission across the network as well as Network camera
connectivity.
HL113EW provides a configuration push button for a convenient
way of creating HomePlug network without the need to using the
Device Utility from a computer. The security feature is supported
by 128-bit AES Hardware encryption. As for WLAN security feature,
it is supported by WPA, WPA2, and WAP. Ensuring the network
communications is free from eavesdroppers and hackers.
